The new Literati e-book reader is now available at The Sharper Image. Priced at just $159, this Kindle competitor boasts a 7-inch (800×480) LCD display to show cover art and photos in e-book files. The device also supports Wi-Fi connectivity for downloading books from Kobo’s online bookstore. Too bad, this eReader is non-touch and uses a Kindle-like keyboard below the screen as well as side buttons for turning pages. The Sharper Image will release the Literati eReader in October 2010 for $159 a pop.
